Draft Results

Wiz on a tear, Seawolves lights out...

Russell Westbrook - No Carolina Wizapins    The Wizapins have the longest current Win streak in the league, standing at 10 straight, as they bounced their way into a four game lead in their division behind their trio of Ellis, Jefferson, & Westbrook.  the PG, Westbrook, averaged close to 40 Pts/G last week.

Brandon Jennings - St Johns Seawolves        There's been a similar surge in north of the border where another PG, Brandon Jennings, has led the Seawolves into 2nd place in the division with Jennings averaging over 40 Pts/G last week. In fact the Seawolves haven't scored less than 150 in their last five games and are now 3rd in the league in scoring.

Scoring picked up just slighly this week, but the number of teams over 130 Pts/G dropped from 7 to 6 with Phoenix overtaking Elstonia in league scoring as the only teams averaging over 150.

League Leaders

Spain muscles past Phoenix for Two-peat

Stephen Curry - Spain Survivors    It's now two in a row for Spain, as they completed their roll in the playoffs pasr the Fusion for their second consecutive FBF Title.

In a series that had been closer, the Survivors took advantage of Fusion  injuries and blasted them by an average margin of 37 points the final two games, led by Series Co-MVP's Stephen Curry And Amare Stoudemire who dropped in an average of 35 pts/G.

LeBron James - Phoenix Fusion        Phoenix, who lost both PF's to injury in game 3 and would not return in the series, had been close early and was leading the series' scoring thru game 3. They were led by SF LeBron James at 46 pts/G in the series.

Congradulations to the 2010/11 Champion Spain Survivors !!!

The off-season now begins and the NBA Playoffs approach... Next on tap in the FBF is the Draft Lottery show on Tuesday May 17th, followed by the NBA Draft on Thursday June 23rd.

Spain outduels Phoenix to take the Trophy...

Dwayne Wade - Spain Survivors    There's a new Champion in town, and their name is fittingly the Survivors, as superstar SG Dwayne Wade led Spain to it's first ever title over the hobbling Fusion.

After a dismal 16 point output in the series opener, which Spain lost by 55 points, Wade would go on to score an average of 45 points per game after that, which Phoenix could not answer after losing LeBron James in the fifth game.

The Fusion had enough depth to make it close in games 3 and 4, but couldn't overcome the Survivors when James went down losing games 5 and 6 by over 30 points.

A break in the action is up next for the league while the NBA Playoffs get underway and look forward to the NBA & FBF Draft Lottery scheduled to take place on May 18th, followed by the 2010 NBA Draft on June 24th.

Congradulations to the Spain Survivors 2009/10 Fantasy Basketball Federation Champions !!
