Wiz
on a tear, Seawolves lights out...
The Wizapins have the longest current Win streak in the league, standing at 10 straight,
as they bounced their way into a four game lead in their division behind their trio of
Ellis, Jefferson, & Westbrook. the PG, Westbrook, averaged close to 40 Pts/G
last week.
There's been a similar
surge in north of the border where another PG, Brandon Jennings, has led the Seawolves
into 2nd place in the division with Jennings averaging over 40 Pts/G last week. In fact
the Seawolves haven't scored less than 150 in their last five games and are now 3rd in the
league in scoring.
Scoring picked up just slighly this week, but the
number of teams over 130 Pts/G dropped from 7 to 6 with Phoenix overtaking Elstonia in
league scoring as the only teams averaging over 150.

in an average of 35 pts/G.
Phoenix, who lost both PF's
to injury in game 3 and would not return in the series, had been close early and was

Spain
outduels Phoenix to take the Trophy...
There's a new Champion in town, and their name
is fittingly the Survivors, as superstar SG Dwayne Wade led Spain to it's first ever title
over the hobbling Fusion.
After a dismal 16 point output in the series opener, which Spain
lost by 55 points, Wade would go on to score an average of 45 points per game after that,
which Phoenix could not answer after losing LeBron James in the fifth game.
The Fusion had enough depth to make it close in
games 3 and 4, but couldn't overcome the Survivors when James went down losing games 5 and
6 by over 30 points.
A break in the action is up next for the league while the NBA
Playoffs get underway and look forward to the NBA & FBF Draft Lottery scheduled to take place on May 18th,
followed by the 2010 NBA Draft on June 24th.
