Hoopsters keep rolling...

Blake Griffin - Milwaukee Pinnacle        Oaktown kept their streak running, now at 11 straight, to keep them solidly entrenched in first place, due mainly to a healthy Anthony Davis

The Pinnacle are trying to keep up in the conference, especially with this past week's top scorer in PF Blake Griffin, who dropped in 46 FPts/G.

The Hoopsters lead the league inscoring, the only team averaging over the 160 mark, with four others over the 150 plateau, the Pinnacle, Rainmakers, St Bernards, and Terror.

Week 8 Who's Hot... and Who's Not...

Hoopsters - Winners of 11 straight

Swamp Dragons - Dropped 9 of 10

Week 9 Key Match-ups
Stuff vs Cornstalkers
Rainmakers vs Possum Pride

It's that time again... Draft Central is hopping !

The long awaited date is finally here, as teams have been making moves in preparation for the Draft and the new season, where everyone is currently tied at 0-0-0 in the standings !!

Deandre Ayton    Marvin Bagley III

The 2018/19 FBF Annual Rookie Draft is on the horizon, and remains to be seen which one of the top two NBA prospects will go #1 overall, C Deandre Ayton or PF Marvin Bagley III, but both appear to have the talent to help their new teams shine !!

The NBA Draft Combine provided some potential insight on how the most recent crop of NBA newcomers may work out on the big stage.

Rainmakers make it two...

James Harden - San Andres Rainmakers    San Andres took their first Division Title this season, and turned that into ring number two, their second in three years, after besting Carolina in five games.

The Rainmakers ability to add that additional banner in the rafters, was as a result of their guard duo of James Harden and Jrue Holiday, both in the top three scoring in the series averaging 45 and 36 Fpts/G respectively.  Harden was named series MVP.

LaMarcus Aldridge - Carolina St Bernards        For the St Bernards, they could not match No Carolina's juggernaut like scoring in the series, and fell behind early, managing to avoid the sweep however ekeing out a win in game four.

All in all however, it was a great season for the Saints, culminating in their first trip to the Championship Finals, and  were led in the series by C/F LaMarcus Aldridge.

We now officially embark into the off-season, with the NBA Playoffs tipping off soon... Next on tap in the FBF is the Draft Lottery show, set for Tuesday May 15th, followed by the NBA Draft on Thursday June 21st.
