2018 Draft Lottery

Dragonfire make it two...

Russell Westbrook - Dragonfire    The Dragonfire were the fourth team to make it to back to back Finals, and turned that into ring number two, their second in four years, after a sweep of teh Hague.

The D-Fire's ability to add that additional banner in the rafters, was as a result of their guard duo of Russell Westbrook and James Harden, the top two scorers in the series averaging 55 and 46 Fpts/G respectively.   Westbrook was named series MVP.

CJ McCullom - The Hague Storks        For the Storks, they could not match the Dragonfire's juggernaut like scoring in the series, and fell behind early in all four games especially after losing star C Joel Embiid to an injury.

All in all however, it was a great season for the Storks, culminating in their first trip to the Championship Finals, and  were led in the series by SG CJ McCullom.

We now officially embark into the off-season, with the NBA Playoffs tipping off soon... Next on tap in the FBF is the Draft Lottery show, set for Tuesday May 15th, followed by the NBA Draft on Thursday June 21st.

League Leaders

Storks Flying High, Dragonfire return...

Russell Westbrook - Dragonfire        It was a series of who would wear down first, as the Storks outlasted the Steamrollers in four games to advance to the Finals for the first time in their history.

They will face the returning Dragonfire, who mark their third  appearance in four years to the Finals, with one banner hanging from the rafters.

Point Guard Russell Westbrook continued his torrid playoff showing, leading all scorers in the Conference Finals averaging 49 FPts/G for the Dragonfire, followed by team-mate James Harden.

The Championship Finals tip off Tuesday the 27th, and run thru April 11th.

Playoffs break for Chamberlain All-Star Win...

Anthony Davis - All-Star MVP        The Wildcard Round of the playoffs have about half of game #1's completed, but this weekend the Playoffs took a break for the Annual All-Star Game.

PF Anthony Davis led all scorers with 65 FPts, leading the Chamberlain Conference to their fifth straight win over the Russell's by 23 Fpts !

The Wildcard Series continues play Thursday night...  A reminder, Injury/IR moves continue to be available throughout the playoffs, however Injury replacements must qualify at the same position.

Vipers cool down Dragonfire for third Title

Paul George - Las Vegas Vipers    Las Vegas was able to overcome the stellar Guard tandem the Dragonfire sent out, to take their third Championship in team history.

Vipers SF Paul George was named series MVP, leading them with a 45 FPt/G average in the six game series, one point ahead of C Karl Anthony Towns.

James Harden - Dragonfire        The Dragonfire by far were leaps above the rest of the league in their back court, and Guards Harden and Westbrook didn't miss a beat in the series averaging 108 FPts/G combined.

That said, their front court could not match the Vipers, who had control of the paint for most of the series.

We now officially embark into the off-season, with the NBA Playoffs tipping off soon... Next on tap in the FBF is the Draft Lottery show, set for Tuesday May 16th, followed by the NBA Draft on Thursday June 22nd.
