Irish getting Lucky, Miners hanging on...

    Brisbane has climed back into the race in into the number two spot in the division behind PF LaMarcus Aldridge and his 34 Pts/G, good for #7 on the Leader Boards.  After a 3-5 start on the season, the Buccaneers have come on to win their last six of seven including a current five game win streak.

        Kuana has seen similar results, with the return of key players that have missed time with injuries, namely PG Stephan Curry and F Michael Beasley. The Cannibals haven't lost a game in over two weeks, and stand in second place in one of the toughest divisions in the league.

        The Vipers and Cales continue to lead the league in scoring, and remain the only 2 teams averaging over 140 Pts/G.

Panthers roll past Cales for Title

    There's a new Champ in town, and their name is the Panthers !!

        Springwood defeated the defending champion Cales in four straight exploding for some of their best scoring this season at just under 170 points per game. SF Carmelo Anthony, the Series MVP, led the Panthers dropping in an average of 44 pts/G.

        Buenos Aires, who didn't get the push they enjoyed in past series and during the regular season, could only come as close as a 10 point margin in games 3 & 4. A dejected Dwight Howard led the Cales at 43 pts/G in the series.

        Congradulations to the 2010/11 Champion Springwood Panthers !!!

        The off-season now begins and the NBA Playoffs approach... Next on tap in the FBF is the Draft Lottery show on Tuesday May 17th, followed by the NBA Draft on Thursday June 23rd.

Cales sink Buccaneers in four straight ...

    It was the Cales late season acquistions that put everything together for the playoffs, as Buenos Aires took home the trophy behind young star SF Kevin Durant and company.  Durant averaged 46 points per game in the series, which Brisbane was unable to counter.

        The Buccaneers were never able to put together a worthwhile offense, and even though their highest output was 178 in the opener, the closest they would come woul;d be a 27 point loss.

     A break in the action is up next for the league while the NBA Playoffs get underway and look forward to the NBA & FBF Draft Lottery scheduled to take place on May 18th, followed by the 2010 NBA Draft on June 24th.
