2010/11
Salary Cap Set, NBA Summer League opens
The 2010/11 Fantasy Basketball Federation III season will officially
kick off soon, and the NBA Summer League has already tipped off. This will be everyone's
first shot at scouting the new NBA Rookies and potential young up and comers for the
upcoming 2010/11 Annual Draft, which is set to begin on Tuesday, August 10.
In addition, the '10/11 Salary Cap was announced for all leagues, set
at $66,746,000. Teams may exceed this limit during the Draft, but then will need to be
below that figure when the Cap takes effect some time in October.
All Important Dates, including Trading, have been
updated and posted in the '10/11 Calendar. Only teams that have renewed their Membership
will be allowed to conduct trades. |

'09/10 Draft Update |
Cales
sink Buccaneers in four straight ...
It was the Cales late season acquistions that
put everything together for the playoffs, as Buenos Aires took home the trophy behind
young star SF Kevin Durant and company. Durant averaged 46 points per game in the
series, which Brisbane was unable to counter.
The Buccaneers were never able to put together a
worthwhile offense, and even though their highest output was 178 in the opener, the
closest they would come woul;d be a 27 point loss.
A break in the action is up next for the league while the NBA
Playoffs get underway and look forward to the NBA & FBF Draft Lottery scheduled to take place on May 18th,
followed by the 2010 NBA Draft on June 24th.
Congradulations to the Buenos Aires Cales, 2009/10 Fantasy
Basketball Federation III Champions !!

Zorros
can't contain shooting Stars...
Behind fiery veteran PG Steve Nash, who put up over 40
points in three of the five games, the upstart Kelowna Stars bested Lima 4 games to 1 in
the '08/09 FBF III Championship Finals.
The Zorros were unable to sustain a reliable
offense to match the Stars attack, with only games 2 thru 4 being close.
A break in the action is up next for the league while the NBA
Playoffs get underway and look forward to the NBA & FBF Draft Lottery scheduled to take place on May 19th,
followed by the 2009 NBA Draft on June 25th.
Congradulations to the Kelowna Stars, 2008/09 Fantasy Basketball
