Dragonfire creeping up...

Russell Westbrook - Dragonfire        The Dragonfire kept their streak running, now at 6 straight, to move them into second place, due mainly to the return of Russell Westbrook.

The Dark Carnival are trying to keep up in the division, especially with this past week's top scorer in PG Damian Lillard, who dropped in 46 FPts/G.

The Dragonfire lead the league inscoring, the only team averaging over the 160 mark, with only the Terrapins over the 150 plateau right on the heels at under a one point difference.

Week 8 Who's Hot... and Who's Not...

Dragonfire - Winners of 6 straight

Delta Devils - Dropped 15 of 16

Week 9 Key Match-ups
Mallards vs Bluejays
Dragonfire vs Terrapins

It's that time again... Draft Central is hopping !

The long awaited date is finally here, as teams have been making moves in preparation for the Draft and the new season, where everyone is currently tied at 0-0-0 in the standings !!

Deandre Ayton    Marvin Bagley III

The 2018/19 FBF Annual Rookie Draft is on the horizon, and remains to be seen which one of the top two NBA prospects will go #1 overall, C Deandre Ayton or PF Marvin Bagley III, but both appear to have the talent to help their new teams shine !!

The NBA Draft Combine provided some potential insight on how the most recent crop of NBA newcomers may work out on the big stage.

Dragonfire make it two...

Russell Westbrook - Dragonfire    The Dragonfire were the fourth team to make it to back to back Finals, and turned that into ring number two, their second in four years, after a sweep of teh Hague.

The D-Fire's ability to add that additional banner in the rafters, was as a result of their guard duo of Russell Westbrook and James Harden, the top two scorers in the series averaging 55 and 46 Fpts/G respectively.   Westbrook was named series MVP.

CJ McCullom - The Hague Storks        For the Storks, they could not match the Dragonfire's juggernaut like scoring in the series, and fell behind early in all four games especially after losing star C Joel Embiid to an injury.

All in all however, it was a great season for the Storks, culminating in their first trip to the Championship Finals, and  were led in the series by SG CJ McCullom.

We now officially embark into the off-season, with the NBA Playoffs tipping off soon... Next on tap in the FBF is the Draft Lottery show, set for Tuesday May 15th, followed by the NBA Draft on Thursday June 21st.
