Champs keep rolling...

Paul George - Netherlands Storm        Kentucky kept their streak running, now at 11 straight, to keep them solidly in first place, due mainly to a healthy Anthony Davis.

The Storm are trying to keep up in the league, especially with this past week's top scorer in SF Paul George, who dropped in 51 FPts/G.

The Colonels lead the league inscoring, the only team averaging over the 160 mark, with two others over the 150 plateau, the Aces High and Corsairs.

It's that time again... Draft Central is hopping !

The long awaited date is finally here, as teams have been making moves in preparation for the Draft and the new season, where everyone is currently tied at 0-0-0 in the standings !!

Deandre Ayton    Marvin Bagley III

The 2018/19 FBF Annual Rookie Draft is on the horizon, and remains to be seen which one of the top two NBA prospects will go #1 overall, C Deandre Ayton or PF Marvin Bagley III, but both appear to have the talent to help their new teams shine !!

The NBA Draft Combine provided some potential insight on how the most recent crop of NBA newcomers may work out on the big stage.

Colonels outmuster Royals...

Karl Anthony Towns - Kentucky Colonels    Kentucky had finally made it to the Finals, and turned that into a ring, their first in franchise history after besting Scranton in five games.

The Colonels ability to add that banner in the rafters, was as a result of their front court duo of Karl Anthony Towns and Anthony Davis, the top two scorers in the series averaging 45 and 47 Fpts/G respectively.  Davis was named series MVP.

DeMar DeRozan - Scranton Royals        For the Royals, they could not match the Colonels juggernaut like scoring in the series, and fell behind early managing to avoid the sweep ekeing out a win in game two.

All in all however, it was a great season for the Royals, culminating in back to back appearances to the Championship Finals, and  were led in the series by SG DeMarr DeRozan.

We now officially embark into the off-season, with the NBA Playoffs tipping off soon... Next on tap in the FBF is the Draft Lottery show, set for Tuesday May 15th, followed by the NBA Draft on Thursday June 21st.
